In barely three months bus commuters will need to brace themselves for another fare increase.

Golden Arrow has announced that as of Monday it will be implementing an interim increase of 8%.

The company’s General Manager Derick Meyer has cited the impact of the global unrest on the South African economy and diesel prices increasing by 81% in the last 18 months for the fare hike. He notes that current projections predict that fuel prices will continue to soar which will impact its supply chain.
