Bosasa fraud case postponed to July 12th

The Bosasa fraud case has been postponed to July 12th.

This, as former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi stands accused of bribing former MP Vincent Smith in exchange for his influence. Between 2004 and 2007, Bosasa scored prison contracts amounting to more than R1-billion.

At the time, Smith was the Chair of Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Correctional Services.

During his testimony at the State Capture Commission of Inquiry, Agrizzi implicated several politicians were implicated for accepting money or lavish gifts from the company.
