Police are searching for the suspects behind the kidnapping of a known Cape Town businessman.

Radio 786 has reliably learned that the victim is the owner of Good Hope Construction, Ismail Rajah.

The 69-year-old was targeted outside his business in Joubert Street in Parow Valley this morning.

According to police spokesperson, Captain Frederick van Wyk, Rajah was getting out of his vehicle when two people armed with AK47s exited a charcoal Audi Q7 and kidnapped him.
