Four people were murdered in Wesbank on Saturday night.
At around 20h00, police responded to a complaint in Strandveld Street. Upon arrival, they discovered three adult females and one adult male aged between 32 and 39-years-old having sustained gunshot wounds.
The victims were declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.
A seven-year-old child was also injured in the incident and transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Preliminary investigations suggests that the incident may be gang related.
No arrests have yet been made.
