Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has admitted that its military planners only realised Iran’s ability to control and close the Strait of Hormuz during the unprovoked war on the West Asian country. He made the admission in an interview with US broadcaster CBS News in which he stated that he does not claim perfect foresight, and nobody had perfect foresight.
When asked about the possibility of toppling Iran’s leadership, Netanyahu said he believes it’s possible despite several failed attempts but concedes that it’s not guaranteed.
The US-Israeli aggression on Iran failed to have the desired outcome for Tehran’s enemies as the government remains intact, it has maintained its military capabilities, and the people of Iran have united. Iran has also been given a stronger hand at the negotiating table.
