Western Cape police have arrested three suspects on charges related to drug dealing. Crime Intelligence worked in collaboration with the K9 Unit and Anti-Gang Unit. They searched houses in Lentegeur for drugs and firearms.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, they arrested a 29-year-old suspect in Honey Suckle Street. He was found with 250 mandrax tablets and a cellphone. Both items were confiscated and handed in as exhibits. Less than two hours later, a 19-year-old suspect was arrested in Aalwyn Street. He was found with 37 sachets of tik, seven heroin straws, and 30 mandrax tablets.

These drugs were seized and booked in as exhibits. Both suspects will appear in the Mitchells Plain Magistrate’s Court once charged.
