Iran continues to strike US assets across the Gulf after the killing of more than 700 people, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Iran’s top security official, Ali Larijani, has reiterated to the countries in the Middle East that they are not seeking to attack them. But he pointed out that when the bases located in their countries are used against Iran, and when the US carries out operations in the region relying on these forces, then they will target those bases. He reminded these countries that these bases are not part of their land, rather, they are American soil.
Iran has struck US and Israeli installations and assets in Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it fired a barrage of Kheybar missiles, opening what it describes as the “massive gates of fire” upon the Israeli entity. The missile, with a range of 2 000km and a warhead of up to 1 500kg, targeted a complex of the Israeli regime in Tel Aviv, military and security hubs in Haifa and sites in East al-Quds. The IRGC has told the colonial settlers to distance themselves from military, security, and regime sites and to immediately leave the occupied territories.
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has meanwhile issued a warning shot to the Israeli entity and demanded the Lebanese government and others take decisive action in stopping the enemy’s repeated violations. In a statement, Hezbollah confirmed that it fired a volley of qualitative missiles and launched a swarm of drones at the enemy’s “Mishmar HaCarmel” missile defence site in the city of Haifa.
The Resistance says this operation was to avenge the pure blood of the Guardian of the Muslims, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, which was shed unjustly and treacherously at the hands of the criminal Israeli-US, and in defence of Lebanon and its people who have faced 15 months of repeated “Israeli” aggression. Hezbollah stressed that this military response is a legitimate defensive one and that the officials and parties concerned must put an end to the attacks on Lebanon.
The Israeli entity has carried out several deadly attacks on Lebanon. More than 15 people have been martyred and at least 60 others wounded in the settler entity’s raids on south Lebanon and the southern suburb of Beirut. In the town of Toul, the settler entity massacred seven people from a single family. In the town of Al-Sultaniyeh, four people were martyred, among them a woman and two children.
Meanwhile, three US soldiers have been killed and five others seriously wounded in the Middle East as Iran continues with its waves of retaliatory strikes. According to the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), they were killed in action. It says several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and conccussions.
