A new era is emerging with anti-imperialism and resistance at its centre.

Palestinian author and Editor-in-chief of Raialyoum Abdel Bari Atwan notes that there is an awakening happening in parts of the Muslim and Arab world. He points to the rise of the resistance axis. He says Iran has become self-sufficient, producing its own weaponry including warships, Yemen is countering the US backed Saudi Arabia, Iraq is kicking out the remnants of the US occupation military, Syria remains steadfast despite the foreign back war, Hezbollah in Lebanon is stronger with an estimated 150 000 accurate missiles and Palestinians in Gaza are manufacturing their own missiles.

Atwan says they don’t need the West and their arms.

He has warned that the Palestinians will make the more than seven-decade occupation of their homeland costly for the Israel both in human and economic terms.

Atwan further notes that there will be repercussions for the West during this Ukraine Russia war. He adds that this will be beneficial for the people of the Middle East in their revolt against decades of Israeli, US and European blackmail and humiliation.
