The Zionist occupation forces have finally withdrawn from Al-Aqsa Mosque after storming it this morning.

They also brutally targeted Palestinian worshippers at the holy compound.

A total of 31 Palestinians were injured during the latest Israeli act of aggression on the holy site.

However, Palestinians remain resilient, and have come out in their numbers to perform their prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

About 150 000 worshippers converged on the site to observe prayers on the third Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, international solidarity is growing as activists from around the world show their disgust at the Israeli brutality.

In Cape Town, activists held a demonstration along the busy Jakes Gerwel Drive in Athlone to denounce the Israeli occupation, and latest acts of aggression.
