More stringent anti-smoking laws could soon be passed.

The Health Department says it is working on the Control of Tobacco Products and Electronic Delivery Systems Bill that is still being processed. Some role players are calling for the matter to be concluded as soon as possible.

The Health Department’s Lynn Moeng says the department is working on the draft law and are moving as fast as they can. Once this process is complete, it will need to be approved by a team of technical committees and then be approved by Cabinet.
