Murder accused Zane Killian’s case has been postponed to December 15th due to Killian having to self-isolate after his cellmate presented Covid-19 symptoms. He was set to appear in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court this morning to apply for bail. Killian stands accused of murdering top Anti-Unit detective Charl Kinnear. A spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in the Western Cape Eric Ntabazalila says Killian’s cellmate’s test results are expected to be released at the end of this week. Should the cellmate test positive, the case will be postponed to January 2021. However, if the Covid-19 test returns negative, the application will start at the Bellville Magistrate’s Court.
