The Palestinian resistance, the Al-Qassam Brigades has released two female prisoners of war following an Egyptian-Qatari mediation. Spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades military, Abu Obeida noted that Israel refused to receive “Nurit Yitzhak” and “Yehudit Levshitz” since last Friday and continues to neglect the file of its prisoners. Obeida says their release was a means for compelling humanitarian and health reasons, despite the Israeli occupation committing more than eight violations of the procedures that were agreed upon with the mediating team for them to adhere to during the day and complete the handover process. An additional two prisoners of war were also released despite the occupation refusing to accept them.
