3 killed in Jakes Gerwel Drive bus crash

The victims of the Golden Arrow Bus tragedy on Jakes Gerwel Drive have been identified.

It has since been revealed that Amy Carelse, Malize van Rooi and Yarick Damons of Mitchells Plain were killed in the accident.

A total of 35 others were injured in the incident.

Footage of Monday morning’s fatal crash shows the bus apparently being lifted before crashing. Golden Arrow says that the driver had reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
