Radio 786 Goes Pink for Vita Care Pharmacy’s GoPink Community Walk

Radio 786 joined Vita Care Pharmacy for its GoPink Community Walk at Rondebosch Common on Saturday, 31 October, in support of cancer awareness and the community.

The event brought people together for a meaningful cause, with participants dressed in pink as they walked to show their support for those affected by cancer. The initiative aimed to raise awareness, encourage community involvement and highlight the importance of standing together in the fight against cancer.

More than just a community walk, the event created an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to come together, show solidarity and contribute towards making a difference. All proceeds raised from the event will go towards St Luke’s Combined Hospices, supporting the important work they do in providing care to patients and their families.

Radio 786 was proud to be part of the initiative, showing its continued commitment to supporting community-driven events that bring people together and highlight causes that matter.

Through initiatives like the GoPink Community Walk, Radio 786 continues to be part of the conversations and activities that make a difference beyond the airwaves.
