Marking two years since the martyrdom of Resistance leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah has reaffirmed its commitment to its path of resistance, its support for Palestine, and the liberation of occupied Lebanese territory.
Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, says Palestine will remain the compass, as will the liberation of Lebanese land, as people of dignity confront the Israeli expansionist project in the region. Turning to his longtime companion in resistance and brother leader, Sheikh Qassem says although Nasrallah has departed in body, his teachings remain, and the light given from that continues to provide them with determination. He noted that Nasrallah is the Resistance and the Resistance is Nasrallah.
Nasrallah was assassinated by the Israeli enemy after Hezbollah opened a support front for the besieged Gaza Strip, a day after the Palestinian Resistance launched the historic Al-Aqsa Flood Operation. Nasrallah will ever be remembered as a strategic architect of the modern resistance, a strategist on the battlefield and in diplomacy, and a living symbol of the inseparable bonds among the region’s resisting peoples.
