The body of a tenth woman has been found in Ekurhuleni in Gauteng. Police say the discovery was made in the Vusimuzi Section in Tembisa South on Saturday morning.
They add that crime scene management and other relevant role-players are currently at the scene. More details are expected once police conduct their preliminary investigations.
The latest discovery comes a day after the Acting Minister of Police, Firoz Cachalia, conducted an oversight visit to police stations in Ekurhuleni. The visit aimed to assess operational readiness and address the area’s recent surge in Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) cases.
