The South African Hajj and Umrah Council (SAHUC) is facing serious allegations from founding member, the Sunni Jamiatul Ulama (SJU). Last week, communities demonstrated outside SAHUC offices in three of South Africa’s major cities, demanding transparency, accountability and the intervention from the Department of International Relations and Cooperation.
