The Iranian Ambassador to South Africa, Mansoor Shakibmehr, held a dialogue session with local community stakeholders in Cape Town this week.
Radio 786 was in attendance whereat questions around the attack on Iran by Israel was posed as well as questions around his country’s resolve on the future of the country’s nuclear program.
The majority of the largely clergy and activist’ audience heaped praise for Iran’s resistance whilst the ambassador also fielded critical questions about the Persian country’s state of readiness ahead of the Israeli aggression and clarity around the establishment of a truce.
The group of prominent community leaders with the ambassador took place on Wednesday 25th at the Hyatt Hotel near Bo-Kaap.
Israel attacked Iran on June 13, with the death toll surpassing 606, with around 5,332 people injured.
