The rhetoric and skewed mainstream reporting about the Israeli occupation of Palestine is dangerous. Author, Professor Marthie Momberg notes that her research has shown a blind support for the existence of the Zionist entity, despite being confronted by its brutality towards Palestinians. Momberg also notes that most people are unaware of the 75-year Nakba, and are often shocked when they are confronted by the facts of the land theft, baseless persecution, targeting of non-Jewish religious groups, and attacks on women and children. Her assessment of Israeli supporters has revealed that their allegiance has nothing to do with the logical aspect of the Zionist state, as it goes beyond reason. She notes that many, despite the evidence to the contrary, believe Israel is a moral entity that is battling terrorism.
