The Israeli occupation regime continues its blatant assault on the Al Quds neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Palestine. At least twenty people were wounded and two others were kidnapped by the Zionist forces.

According to the Palestine Information Center the occupation soldiers tried to break into the house of the al-Kurd family who has been vocal about the Israeli campaign to expel Palestinians from the area.

For months now Apartheid Israel has been seeking to alter the Palestinian identity of the neighbourhood under the guise of so-called eviction orders – an attempt to legitimise its crimes.

The attempted expulsions and the attacks on worshippers at the Al Aqsa Mosque prompted protests across occupied Palestine last month.
