Classes at the Western Cape Nursing College will resume next week. The college was closed late last month after a handful of students went on the rampage, demanding to meet with management to discuss their grievances.

The group has been demanding, among other things, a review of their in-service working hours.

The provincial Health Department’s Faiza Steyn said students would be dismissed immediately should they repeat their actions.

Steyn added that the students would have to sign a document of compliance when they returned for classes on February 15.
