Teen Wanted for Mother's Murder PDF Print E-mail

Police are hunting for an 18-year-old in connection with his mother's brutal murder in the family's Cape Town home on Friday night.

They have identified the young man as their "prime suspect". Nonkosi Makananda, the wife of a Methodist minister, was found stabbed to death in her Bothasig home on her 54th birthday on Friday night.

She had been stabbed seven times in the chest.
